Planting of Rose Bank Vineyard occurred between 2004 and 2006 on a south facing slope looking towards Worcester Cathedral and the Malvern Hills. Three white varieties - Phoenix; Madeleine Angevine; Reichensteiner and one red - Regent were planted on the Scott-Henry trellis system. The first vintage was picked in 2006 with the whole vineyard being picked for the first time in 2008. We have been awarded medals for our wine, which is made for us by Three Choirs Vineyards Ltd, Newent,Glos, at both national and regional levels. We welcome groups (min 12) for a tour and wine tasting at the vineyard by prior appointment and a cream tea/buffet can be enjoyed at the B&B opposite afterwards. Our wines can be purchased directly from the vineyard, at monthly Farmer's markets in Droitwich, Bromsgrove or Malvern or from various local retail outlets (see our web site). To learn more about setting up a vineyard and the trials and tribulations invite me (Richard Tomkinson) to give your group/organisation a talk.
