The Kettle Sings, Jubilee Drive,
I have visited the Kettle Sings for the first time in years last week. All I can say is "what an improvement".There was 11 of us for Sunday Lunch and it was just amazing, this little Restaurant has managed to bag what I consider the best chef in the county. The food was amazing the service was great and a view which i consider to be the best in the country. We never felt ripped off and any other restaurant we have been to in the past would of cost us double. My Daughter was so impressed she has booked her engagement party.A must
Wwe visited the Kettle Sings for the first time after a visit 12 months ago. we found it much improved. Good service. Excellent food. Only problem slow service of desserts. And the Sticky toffee pudding was "off" And the creme brulee was served without the almond biscuits (also off) Would recommend as a very picturesque place to stop off for good food and enjoy wonderful views.
The Kettle Sings is a great little cafe. I completely agree with everyone here. Nestled on the side of the Malvern Hills, it's the perfect spot to take in the views and rest your legs after a long walk. The food is excellent and very well priced and you're assured of a get a great cup of tea.
When I first learnt to drive, a long time ago, it was a pleasure to go and collect the Sunday papers from the town and go to The Kettle Sings to read them and enjoy the ambiance. Over the years it did get tiring but the present owners have put it back on the map. The food is good, the place clean and above all it is one of the most friendliest of places for miles around. I now live in Cheltenham and go for coffee and those wonderful scones or toasted tea cakes at least once a week.
fantastic food, amazing views of the hills... great stuff
i had the most wonderful tea and freshly made scones (warm from the oven, they are made every day), while the cakes, biscuits, jams etc are all made inhouse using local ingredients. The owners buy fantastic eggs, apples, cheeses, cider, apple juice, asparagus etc from local farmers and growers. The whole place is unpretentious, homely, friendly and very english - superb!
